HERE'S THE SCOOP:
Bugsy came to us from the Witchita Animal Shelter in Kansas. He was on the Euthanasia list and running out of time due to being a fear biter. They can't put dogs like this on the adoption floor. Beauties and Beasts, Inc. work tirelessly to network all the pets that can't be put on the adoption floor.
Little fear biter's are my specialty; once you get them out of their kennel they are fine. This was so true with Bugsy.
FAMILY GOALS!

Bugsy is a little wiggle butt love bug, with a few quirks. Bugsy is in a VERY dog savvy home. He prefers foster Mom and her daughter over Foster Dad. Foster Dad and Foster Grandpa have made a little progress. He's NEVER once tried to bite anyone but just barks and growls at them.
On the other hand, if you're a guy driving a car and he can sit on your lap, then he's fine with men

We say no kids because he growls at them. He's either never been socialized with kids or he's been abused by kids.

Bugsy does not like big dogs. He gets right in their faces and barks and growls. If you have a big dog that's non reactive to that nonsense like my Big Lab Jenny or even Big Zire and they don't react to him, he'll be fine. He does loves his little Chi Buddy in his foster home though.

He's a lap dog, cuddly, under the cover's kinda dog. The way to his heart is food. He just acts like he's been starved.

He's rarely had an accident but he's not left alone for that long in his foster home and is let out often. Bugsy is just a little work in progress and so worth the work!

He's going to need a very special home, and it's out there, we just have to find it. Bugsy needs a home that understands that this precious little boy would not be alive today if not for a picture and a video and someone saying yes to him.

Good with cats.

Likes little dogs that aren't reactive, would be okay with a non-reactive big dog.

No kids.
Fenced yard is required as it takes him time to do his bizzness.
Potential adopter's must be able to afford vet care, such as HW/Flea/Tick preventative, dental's and whatever else comes up throughout the rest of his life.

Stable, established homes required.

An approved adoption application needed before a meet and greet.

Two week trial home and then the adoption agreements are signed.

Bugsy's adoption fee is $75.00

He is located in Gothenburg NE, but non local adoptions are possible.
